Joseph Santandrea

Joseph has been making art with words for over 20 years. His influences range from the ancient, rapturous poetry of Rumi to the contemporary word art of Jenny Holzer. His sculpture generally involves found objects and sign letters but paint, canvas and industrial supplies are often included. He has traveled extensively and incorporates the universality of the human condition in his works.
Joseph lives in Austin, Texas.
